Roles and Responsibilities· Ensure that the standard of support and care provided to residents is consistent with the Mission, Vision, and Values of Dídean· Adhere to evidence-based practice, using a person focused care planning approach to care· Maintain a safe environment for residents, staff, and visitors· Take a high level of ownership within your assigned homes· Establish and maintain relationships with residents based on respect and equality· Participate in the development and implementation of Dídean's Quality and Safety Management System (incident, accident, risk and complaints management, audits, quality initiatives etc.)· Promote good relations with the neighbours, community resources and other agencies towards the promotion and development of services· Report any accidents, incidents, and complaints to the Deputy CEO· Participate as a team member of the multi-disciplinary care team in all aspects in the delivery of resident care· Ensure compliance with the corporate quality/risk management programmes to ensure the continual development of a high-quality evidence-based service· Be aware of the confidential nature of the work and in particular, the right to resident's confidentiality. To this end, Dídean's residents shall not be discussed with people outside of Dídean unless it's for work purposes· Adhere to the Safety, Health, and Welfare at work policy of the organisation· Take on staff team activities willingly and with enthusiasm· Display initiative by thinking of and recommending suitable improvements to programmes· Support the service in motivating the staff team to work with a common sense of purpose· Undertake such other duties as may be assigned from time to time by the Deputy CEOQualificationsEssential:· A Third Level Qualification in Applied Social Studies in Social Care or equivalent**QUALIFICATION MUST BE RELEVANT TO CARE INDUSTRY**· Full, Clean Driver's License
