CUSTOMER SERVICE SPECIALIST – FRENCH and DUTCH Speaker – Galway - Hybrid
My client, a Galway City based global operational hub, seeks to hire a Customer Service Specialist initially on a 6-month FTC basis with a view to extension. You will be the first point of contact to support customers and key distributors across Europe. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks including order processing, problem solving, admin support for the commercial sales team and logistic support for both internal and external customers. This role reports to the Customer Services Team Lead and is part of the European Domestic Customer Services team on the French & Dutch speaking team.
The successful candidate will be fluent in Dutch and French.
Responsibilities
* Process all orders received via CRM system. Orders are received primarily by email, with some via phone, fax or the online system.
* Communicate proactively with internal and external customers regarding order status and other topics in a professional, positive, and courteous manner.
* Review and maintain customers\' open orders daily.
* Investigate and resolve order processing issues, working cross-functionally with other departments to resolve customer queries.
* Resolve email, fax and telephone inquiries and liaise with customers on pricing, inventory availability, terms, delivery, or general questions.
* Collaborate with other departments to ensure data accuracy in SAP.
* Keep customer account changes up to date and communicated to the commercial sales team.
* Stay informed on products, inventory levels, special requirements and promotions to support excellent customer service.
* Communicate changes, issues, and potential concerns with your Team Lead regarding any customer accounts.
* Contribute ideas and support continuous improvement efforts.
* Work with the central warehouse and/or supply chain teams on inventory, escalations, and customer inquiries; complete required reporting.
* Develop and maintain productive relationships with customers and internal colleagues.
* Adhere to Quality Management System (QMS) processes to support excellent customer experience and comply with company policies and procedures.
* Demonstrate professional behavior consistent with the company’s policies and practices and understand quality implications of job performance.
* Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
Requirements
* Fluency in Dutch and French required.
* Customer-focused, self-starter with a professional attitude.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
* Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively; adaptable to changing priorities.
* Willingness to learn and problem-solve; comfortable with ambiguity.
* Experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and IT systems; SAP or other ERP experience is advantageous.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Experience in healthcare is desirable but not essential.
