This role is ideal for a proactive leader who can oversee all supplier negotiations, manage inventory, ensure efficient logistics, and maintain a safe, compliant environment. You'll assist in leading a dedicated team, drive continuous improvement, and support organisational goals in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Define and deliver a supply chain strategy aligned to business goals and growth plans.
2. Lead procurement and inventory operations to ensure cost control, policy compliance, and production continuity.
3. Manage and optimize supplier relationships, including sourcing, qualification, and contract negotiation.
4. Identify and mitigate supply chain risks through contingency planning and alternative sourcing.
5. Drive supply chain performance using KPIs, analytics, and continuous improvement initiatives.
6. Ensure compliance with quality, safety, environmental, and sustainability standards.
Key Requirements
7. Minimum 2 years experience in a similar team lead role.
8. Strong expertise in strategic sourcing, supplier management, and negotiations.
9. Proven ability to manage demand forecasting, inventory levels, and cost optimisation.
10. Experienced in leading and developing supply chain or procurement teams.
11. Advanced analytical skills with a focus on KPIs and data-driven decision making.
12. Demonstrated capability in supply chain risk management and corrective action implementation.
13. Working knowledge of quality systems, environmental regulations, and safety standards.
