We are seeking enthusiastic professionals to support adults with intellectual disabilities in a community-based setting, assisting with independent living skills and integration into the community.
About the Role
* Assist individuals with daily tasks and activities to promote independence and well-being.
* Support individuals with communication needs to facilitate effective interaction and engagement.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver high-quality care and services.
* Contribute to the development and implementation of person-centred care plans.
* Maintain accurate records of individual progress and outcomes.
Requirements and Qualifications
* FETAC level 5 in Healthcare or equivalent qualification.
* 1 year's experience working with vulnerable adults or adults with intellectual disabilities.
* Knowledge of HIQA regulations and adherence to National Standard policies.
* Understanding of person-centred care and planning principles.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Proficient IT skills relevant to role, including Microsoft Office Excel, Word, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams.
