Job Description
As a seasoned Cost Estimator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the financial success of our projects. Your primary responsibility will be to prepare accurate cost estimates for materials, labour, and project resources.
* Develop and maintain comprehensive cost plans, incorporating all relevant technical specifications and industry standards.
* Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify potential cost-saving opportunities and implement mitigation strategies as required.
* Collaborate closely with project teams to ensure seamless communication and efficient delivery of projects within budget.

Key Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you must possess the following skills and qualifications:
* Minimum 3 years experience working as a Project Quantity Surveyor or equivalent, preferably in an engineering or mechanical contracting environment.
* Proven ability to read and interpret complex technical drawings and documentation, including P&ID diagrams and piping isometrics.
* Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
* Strong knowledge of design standards, technical documentation, and applicable construction regulations.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant project management software.
