Building a sustainable tomorrow We are recruiting for a Caretaker to join our team at the Cork Courthouse facility.
Your mission Carry out daily inspections of facilities.Manage key holding responsibilities, including opening and closing the facilities.Move and re-arrange furniture as needed.Set up areas for exhibitions and special events.Attend to alarms (e.g., fire and emergency).Perform minor works and maintenance.Carry out routine Planned Preventative Maintenance.Maintain general building fabric.Oversee external grounds upkeep.Handle porterage and general duties, including moving and delivering items to staff.Liaise with the helpdesk and carry out reactive tasks.Supervise and accompany site subcontractors.Monitor waste management of the facilities.Perform general cleaning duties, including using scrubber driers.Support reactive cleaning duties.Administer First Aid and CPR.Perform Fire Warden duties.Work in accordance with BAM Safety, Quality, and Environmental standards. Who are we looking for? Knowledge of building operations.Experience working in a team environment.Hardworking and diligent attitude.Good time management skills.DIY repair skills and problem-solving abilities.Manual Handling Certification.Safe Pass certification.Vetting required.Awareness of health & safety regulations and procedures.Ability to work effectively with people at various levels and responsibilities.
