Our Dublin based client are looking for a
Senior Technical Program Manager
to join their team on a permanent basis
The position sits in their Dublin team with a strong focus on Product Development
This is a hybrid role with 2/3 days per week on site
Responsibilities:
* The management of project and program-level processes, driving forward execution, managing risk and continuous improvement across projects and programs,
* Working alongside hardware and software teams.
* Define on project scope and schedules to ensure on timely delivery of value to end customers
* Product development lifecycle, from R&D through verification and launch
.
* Manage items such as resource constraints, time challenges, team landscape and efforts across all associated teams
* Collaboration with product, engineering, program, and all stakeholders to ensure alignment
* Manage and communicate the implementation of changes to planning objectives, schedules, and product configurations
* Provide regular status updates, highlighting accomplishments, plans, and any issues across your programs.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline preferred.
* 6-8+ years of Program Management experience working directly with agile, product and/or platform teams
* Experience with hardware-enabled products or embedded devices is a major advantage for this role and client
* Strong understanding of full cycle Software Development and experience with hardware and embedded system development processes.
* Experience with agile software development and associated tools
* Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
* Outstanding time management and organization skills
* Adept in problem-solving, facilitating decision making and resolving conflict
* PMP is desirable
