We are looking for a Localization Quality Manager to join an international technology company’s localization team. This role is focused on driving language quality and localization excellence across multiple markets through scalable, data-driven processes and close collaboration with external vendors and internal teams.
This position is ideal for a localization professional with 3–5 years of experience in quality management or program management, who enjoys working in a multicultural environment, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring the highest linguistic standards across products used by millions of people worldwide.
What You’ll Do
* Manage localization quality across 6–8 languages, particularly in markets without in-house language leads.
* Design and implement quality frameworks including source content optimization, terminology management, and vendor education.
* Analyze quality metrics and performance data to identify issues and drive continuous improvement.
* Build and maintain strong vendor relationships, enabling external partners to deliver consistent, high-quality work.
* Collaborate with internal teams such as Engineering, Product, and Content Design to support international product launches.
* Drive process improvements using automation and AI tools to enhance localization efficiency and quality.
* Report regularly on quality performance, vendor engagement, and progress against KPIs.
What We’re Looking For
* Bachelor’s degree in Translation, Linguistics, Communications, or related field.
* 3+ years’ experience in localization, language quality, or program management.
* Strong understanding of data-driven quality management and localization workflows.
* Hands-on experience with CAT and TMS tools (e.g., Trados, Smartling, Memsource, XTM).
* Proven ability to work cross-functionally with vendors and internal stakeholders.
* Excellent communication, organization, and analytical skills.
* A proactive, collaborative mindset and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Nice to Have
* Native or near-native fluency in a language other than English.
* Experience integrating AI technologies into localization workflows.
* Background in vendor management, budgeting, or forecasting.
* Experience in or with Language Service Providers (LSPs).
* Multilingual profile or familiarity with different writing systems.
