Location:Limerick or DublinMust have HV and Substation experience.Key responsibilities:Lead all tendering activities for high-voltage (HV) and power distribution projects within the Power & Renewables sector.Review tender specifications, drawings, and documentation to identify scope, requirements, and commercial opportunities.Collaborate closely with engineering, construction, and commercial teams to prepare compliant and competitive bid submissions.Coordinate interfaces between electrical, civil, and structural disciplines during the tender process.Compile, assess, and manage all technical submittals and ensure timely delivery of tender documentation.Interface directly with clients during tender and post-tender stages, managing all clarification queries and responses.Develop detailed value propositions and technical write-ups that clearly communicate project benefits and execution strategies.Liaise with estimation teams to align technical input with commercial proposals and pricing strategies.Attend and lead post-tender meetings and negotiations, representing the engineering and commercial position with clarity and professionalism.Ensure all tenders adhere to internal quality, safety, and procedural requirements.Monitor and improve tendering processes through regular review, identifying opportunities to increase efficiency and reduce risk.Manage the use of digital tendering platforms and submission portals, ensuring accuracy and compliance at all stages.Qualifications/Experience:Third-level qualification in Electrical Engineering or equivalent relevant industry experience.Minimum 3 years' experience in electrical tendering, estimating, or project engineering roles.Proven High Voltage (HV) experience, ideally on power transmission, distribution, or substation projects.Strong understanding of commercial, technical, and contractual principles within project tendering.Skilled in coordinating multi-disciplinary inputs and managing complex tender processes.Excellent communication and presentation abilities, both written and verbal.Strong IT proficiency, including experience preparing professional reports and presentations.Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working both independently and as part of a wider team.Positive, solution-focused mindset with a strong commitment to quality and continuous improvement.Flexibility to travel as required for client meetings, site visits, and tender presentations.
