Job Description
* Analyze and assess the needs of children and adults residing in our facilities, providing individualized treatment plans to promote self-care, leisure, and productive occupations.
* Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including Consultant Psychiatrists, Behaviour Specialists, Nurses, Clinical Psychologists, Speech and Language Therapists, Social Care Workers, and Assistance Support Workers to deliver person-centered care.
We require an Occupational Therapist with expertise in sensory integration approaches who can provide assessments of service users' sensory processing difficulties. The successful candidate will have experience with implementation of evidence-based group therapy programs based on assessed needs.
Skill Requirements
To be considered for this role you must hold a Degree/Masters in Occupational Therapy from a 3rd level institution accredited by the World Federation of Occupational Therapists; registration with CORU or pending registration at application stage;
* Knowledgeable about individual care planning and risk assessment experience;
* Post-qualification work experience as an OT within disability services/mental health services;
