This senior-level role involves managing multiple civil engineering projects, ensuring the successful delivery of works both on-site and from head office.
The ideal candidate will be confident and capable of building strong relationships with clients, local authorities, subcontractors, and internal teams.
You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of contract delivery, from tendering and procurement to resource management and project execution.
Lead and manage multiple contracts and frameworks simultaneously.
Develop and maintain effective relationships with clients and local authorities.
Manage both office-based and site-based personnel, as well as subcontractors.
Oversee and contribute to the tendering process, including compiling tender packages and leading tender applications.
Coordinate with various departments to gather the necessary information for tender submissions.
Attend and lead client and stakeholder meetings on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
Ensure all team members and subcontractors perform to the highest standards and in accordance with project requirements.
Oversee procurement processes across multiple projects.
Requirements
Proven experience in contract management within the civil engineering or construction industry.
Strong knowledge of the tendering process and associated documentation.
Demonstrated experience managing multiple crews and subcontractors.
Excellent project management skills and ability to meet tight deadlines.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage confidently with clients, local authorities, and multidisciplinary teams.
Ability to lead teams and coordinate resources effectively across projects.
