We are seeking an experienced Financial Controller to lead our financial operations. This is a senior, hands-on role with responsibility for statutory and tax compliance, team leadership and the delivery of timely, high-quality financial insight to support decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead, manage and develop the finance team across AP and AR functions.
* Evaluate full compliance with statutory, regulatory and legislative requirements.
* Manage month-end and year-end close processes including balance sheet budgets cashflow review VAT returns corporation tax computations production weekly monthly management reports clear analysis recommendations investigations reconciliations discrepancies leading internal external audits maintenance enhancement financial controls policies procedures accuracy integrity GDPR compliances partner stakeholders commercial insights decisions cost-saving initiatives supplier optimisation finance-led improvement projects forecasts budgets planning ownership ad-hoc finance projects
