We are on the lookout for kind-hearted Home Health Aides to bring smiles and support to our patients in the Waterford, MI area! If you're passionate about making a difference in someone's life by providing daily living assistance and personal care, we want you on our team!
This role requires working 6 to 8 hour shifts during the day.
Your Daily Heroes' Responsibilities:
* Offer compassionate health care services in our patients' homes
* Help with household tasks to ensure a comfortable environment
* Assist in transporting and accompanying patients to their doctor's appointments or hospital visits
* Assist with simple prescribed medications with care
* Support clients with personal care activities
* Monitor vital signs and report any concerns
* Keep detailed care records and document provided services
* Assist with mobility and physical therapy or exercises
* Be a friendly companion
Minimum Requirements:
* Reliable transportation to ensure timely arrivals
* Valid Driver’s License
* Proof of current valid auto insurance
* Ability to work both in a team and independently
* Good communication skills that create positive connections
* Willingness to travel within the service area
* CPR Certified (or willing to obtain)
* Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
* High School Graduate or GED
