Job Description:
We are currently looking for a passionate and reliable Guitar and/or Keyboard Teacher to join our team for the upcoming term. The ideal candidate will have experience working with both children and adults, and enjoy encouraging students of all levels to reach their musical potential.
Responsibilities:
* Teach individual or small group guitar and/or keyboard lessons
* Prepare students for performances or exams if requested (e.g. RIAM, LCM, etc.)
* Work collaboratively with the Music Mad team to maintain a fun and supportive learning environment
* Communicate clearly with parents/students regarding progress and scheduling
* Maintain a high standard of professionalism and punctuality
Requirements:
* Proficiency in guitar and/or keyboard (you don't need to play both)
* Teaching experience
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Garda vetting (or willingness to complete it)
* Ability to commit to the full term (September to December)
Hours:
Flexible, but must be agreed with students at the start of term.
Location:
Primarily in Glanmire or Cork City, depending on demand.
Rate of Pay:
Competitive, based on experience.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: €30.00-€36.00 per hour
