Key Responsibilities:
* Operate and monitor medium voltage switchgear, transformers, and distribution systems.
* Perform switching operations, isolations, and grounding procedures in strict accordance with safety protocols.
* Coordinate planned and emergency outages with internal departments and external utility providers.
* Conduct routine inspections, functional testing, and preventive maintenance on MV electrical equipment.
* Respond promptly to electrical faults and outages, carry out diagnostics, and initiate corrective measures.
* Maintain accurate records including switching orders, incident reports, and maintenance logs.
* Collaborate closely with engineering, construction, and maintenance teams to support system upgrades, modifications, and commissioning activities.
Candidate Profile:
* Proven experience supervising MV electrical systems, ideally within a utilities, pharmaceutical, data center, or industrial setting.
* Strong understanding of electrical safety and isolation procedures.
* Ability to lead a team, delegate effectively, and foster a collaborative and positive working environment.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills – approachable, helpful, and team-oriented.
* Comfortable being hands-on, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
* Strong organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail.
* Willingness to contribute to continuous improvement and uphold safety and quality standards.
