Operational Excellence Manager
The Operational Excellence Manager is responsible for leading and managing all molding operations within a high-volume manufacturing environment.
* Direct and oversee all molding operations to ensure production targets and customer requirements are consistently met.
* Establish, track, and optimize plant performance metrics, identifying opportunities for operational improvements and implementing corrective actions as needed.
* Review, approve, and manage labor planning, performance evaluations, training, and safety/accident reports.
* Monitor production data, including downtime, waste, and non-conformances, and lead initiatives to minimize disruptions and enhance efficiency.
* Drive technical and operational enhancements in partnership with engineering, quality, and other cross-functional teams.
* Lead, mentor, and develop direct reports, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and high performance.
* Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, safety protocols, and company policies throughout all production processes.
Required skills and qualifications include:
* A minimum of 5 years' experience as an Operations Manager in high-volume production environments.
* Strong understanding and practical application of Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
* Proven track record of driving operational excellence, productivity improvements, and cost reduction initiatives.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to motivate teams and influence cross-functional stakeholders.
* Solid analytical skills to interpret production data and implement effective solutions.
