We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Conference & Banqueting Manager to oversee the smooth running of our meeting rooms, event spaces, and banqueting facilities. The successful candidate will ensure all rooms are maintained to the highest standard, set up in line with client requirements, and ready to deliver an exceptional experience for every event.This role requires excellent organisational skills, a strong eye for detail, and the ability to manage a team to consistently deliver high-quality service.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee the setup and breakdown of all conference and banqueting rooms in line with function sheets and client requirements.Ensure all meeting and event spaces are maintained, clean, safe, and well-presented at all times.Work closely with the Events/Sales team to confirm room layouts, AV needs, and catering requirements.Act as the main point of contact during events to support clients and ensure smooth delivery.Lead, train, and motivate the Conference & Banqueting team to consistently meet service standards.Carry out regular inspections of function rooms, equipment, and furniture, reporting and following up on maintenance issues.Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards across all conference and banqueting areas.Liaise with housekeeping, maintenance, and catering departments to ensure rooms are fully prepared for events.RequirementsPrevious experience in conference, banqueting, or event operations, ideally within a hotel or hospitality environment.Strong organisational and leadership skills with a focus on detail.Ability to manage multiple events and room turnarounds efficiently.Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.A customer-focused attitude with a passion for delivering exceptional service.Flexibility to work varied hours including evenings and weekends as required.Job Type: Full-timePay: From €30,000.00 per yearBenefits:Food allowanceGym membershipOn-site gymOn-site parkingExperience:Conference and Event: 5 years (required)Work Location: In person
