Atkins Réalis is seeking an experienced professional to join our Bridge Design Team in Cork as an Associate Director. The ideal candidate will have the potential to progress to Technical Director with support from our senior management team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing a local team of bridge engineering professionals, driving business development, and conducting resource planning to ensure project success.
Key Responsibilities:
* Leadership: Oversee the delivery of structural aspects of projects and provide design input.
* Business Development: Manage tender bids for professional services contracts and drive growth.
* Resource Planning: Conduct short, medium, and long-term resource planning to ensure project success.
* Design Oversight: Provide technical expertise and oversee the delivery of structural aspects of projects.
* Project Management: Manage medium and large-sized projects, ensuring quality, timelines, and deliverables are met.
* Stakeholder Communication: Effectively communicate with internal and external parties, including clients and stakeholders.
* Mentorship: Develop junior team members and foster a collaborative work environment.
Requirements
A Level 8 Honours Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering is required, along with relevant experience as a Bridge / Senior Bridge Engineer on Irish projects post-graduation.
A Chartered Bridge Engineer (CEng, MIStruct E, or equivalent) certification is also mandatory.
The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of delivering high-quality services to clients in both the public and private sectors.
