We're seeking a Systems Accountant to join a dynamic public sector team in North Dublin City Centre.
This 6-month contract offers the opportunity to play a key role in a project integrating a subsidiary into the parent organisation's operations.
This opportunity would suit a Qualified or Part-Qualified Accountant with experience in systems, projects, or ERP environments.
As Systems Accountant, you'll play a key role in supporting non-finance users through the transition, while working closely with IT, Finance, and senior stakeholders to align financial systems with business objectives.
Based in Dublin 1, the role offers hybrid working (three days from home, two days in the office), flexitime, and a collaborative, supportive environment with a strong team culture.
The salary range is €63,000 - €68,000.
Key Responsibilities: Contribute to the integration of a subsidiary into the parent company's Microsoft Business Central platform.
Assist in developing and embedding robust financial controls alongside management.
Review, test, and implement system improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Work closely with IT, finance, and senior stakeholders to ensure financial systems meet business needs.
Create and enhance financial reporting tools and dashboards to support post-merger reporting.
Candidate Requirements: Fully or Part Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent).
3 plus years of experience in project accounting, particularly around ERP implementations and system integration's.
Solid knowledge of ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, or similar enterprise systems.
Strong grasp of financial reporting requirements, internal controls, and compliance standards.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively across all levels of the organisation.
