Key Duties and Responsibilities:Ensure Quality Management Systems are in place and adhered to at all times.Assist with maintaining BRCGS accreditation for Storage, Distribution and Wholesale.Temperature and Hygiene Checks on storage areas, in accordance with Foods safety regulations.Issuing Certificates of conformances/ Certificates of analysis to customers.Inspecting and assisting with the return process and credit notes.Daily, weekly and monthly hygiene & GMP checks including internal GMP audits.Conduct monthly internal audits.Logging and investigating customer complaints and supplier non-conformances.Assisting with the supplier approval procedure.Conduct traceability exercises and mock recalls.Process customer queries such as technical queries, specification requests and customer questionnaires.Keeping customer allergen portals up to date.Assisting with customer notifications of product changes.To assist the Quality Manager with the any delegated tasks and responsibilities.To assist the Quality Manager with customer audits and site standards.To support all departments of the company with any queries regards to Food safety and product details.Maintenance of pest control programme.Production checks including building recipes, specifications and creating labels.Assist the NPD team with approving product specifications, labels and packaging.Ensuring product complies with specification standards.Requirements:Minimum of one years' experience working within a Food related environment and Quality Assurance.Knowledge and qualifications in HACCP, Allergen legislation and internal audits is required.Good understanding of food safety standards and legislation.Hands on knowledge of HACCP and BRC standards.Strong excel and presentation skills.Ability to work in a busy environment.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Ecommerce knowledge is an advantage.
