We are partnering with a major, globally-operating financial institution to find a highly experienced
Senior Software Engineer
to join their critical
EMEA Regulatory Reporting Technology team
. This is a key role responsible for defining and driving the engineering strategy for their mission-critical reporting platform.
*1 year contract expected to roll/extend
*3 days per week onsite in Dublin office, 2 days at home
*Daily Rate: per day depending on experience and suitability
Required Skills and Qualifications
* A proven track record in software delivery management with
10+ years of software development experience
.
* Excellent technical expertise in the following core technologies:
Oracle, PL/SQL, Informatica, Angular, Java, Spring, and Autosys
.
* Experience leading and guiding technical teams to implement complex technical designs.
* Ability to
troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
quickly and effectively.
* Demonstrable experience creating
reusable components
that can be leveraged across large organizations.
* Proficiency in
SDLC, Agile methodologies
, and the
JIRA framework
.
* Experience interfacing with
3rd party vendor platforms
.
* A strong leader capable of building relationships with both business and technology partners.
* Prior experience working within a
large organization
or the
financial services industry
.
* Good understanding of other emerging technologies.
