The chosen candidate will oversee a diverse, nationwide property portfolio on behalf of corporate, institutional, and not-for-profit clients.This key leadership role involves delivering high-quality property management services, ensuring compliance with lease terms and regulations, and maintaining excellent client relationships. They are one of the best known names in the commercial property sector.Key Responsibilities:Carry out building inspections and produce comprehensive technical reports.Manage the day-to-day operations, maintenance, and upkeep of commercial and/or residential properties.Provide expert guidance on landlord and tenant matters, including lease compliance, dilapidations, and repairing obligations.Develop and assess maintenance strategies, schedules of condition, and refurbishment specifications.Oversee procurement processes, appoint and manage external contractors, and supervise on-site works.Advise on service charge budgets and expenditure, ensuring alignment with lease terms and delivering value for money.Support the development and implementation of long-term asset management plans and capital investment strategies.Ensure adherence to all relevant professional standards, legal requirements, and regulatory obligations.Maintain effective communication with clients, tenants, legal representatives, managing agents, and other key stakeholders.Key Requirements:A degree in Building Surveying, Property Management, or a closely related field.Chartered (MRICS) status or working towards accreditation is an advantage but not essential.Minimum of 5 years' experience in property management.Solid understanding of commercial lease structures, service charge processes, and relevant property legislation.Demonstrated experience in managing property portfolios and advising on service charge budgets.Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce clear, professional reports.Confident using Microsoft Office; familiarity with property management software is a plus.Exposure to both commercial and residential property sectors is desirable.Self-motivated and organised, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
