Job Description:
This is a leadership role that requires clinical expertise and managerial skills to provide exceptional care to children undergoing complex neurosurgical procedures.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering compassionate, expert-level care in the St. Gabriel's Neurosurgical Ward, ensuring the safe, effective, and efficient management of the ward.
Key Responsibilities:
* Providing clinical and managerial leadership to the nursing team
* Coordinating multidisciplinary care and fostering a culture of clinical excellence
* Safeguarding high standards of quality care to children and their families
* Assuming delegated responsibility in the absence of the CNM2
Essential Criteria:
* Registered on the Children's Division and/or the General Division of the Register of Nurses & Midwives
* Minimum 2 years' experience in Neurosurgical Nursing
* Evidence of ongoing education / continuous professional development
* Proven clinical and managerial ability, leadership, communication and organisational skills
