You'll act as a trusted advisor to operational teams, ensuring compliance with legislation, best practice, and company policy while driving continuous improvement across all aspects of health, safety, and risk management.
Responsibilities for Regional Health & Safety Manager Champion a positive health and safety culture across all sites and service lines.
Implement, monitor, and review health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures in line with current legislation.
Provide competent, practical advice and support to operational and management teams across all business areas.
Lead site audits, safety inspections, and risk assessments, ensuring findings are documented and actions completed.
Support and coach site managers to enhance safety awareness and performance standards.
Investigate incidents and near misses to identify root causes and implement preventative actions.
Develop and maintain training plans to ensure staff competence in health and safety practices.
Deliver regular performance reports to management, highlighting progress against safety objectives and incident reduction targets.
Collaborate closely with the wider HSEQ and leadership teams to align on strategy and share best practice.
Requirements for Health & Safety Manager Diploma or equivalent qualification in Occupational Health and Safety.
Proven experience in health and safety management within a multi-site or service-led environment.
Strong knowledge of risk management, business continuity, and statutory compliance.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence at all levels.
Commercially astute with strong organisational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Flexibility to travel between sites (approximately 80%) and work outside standard hours when required.
