Galway Reporting Line: Managing DirectorJob PurposeReporting to the Managing Director, you will be a key member of the finance team. As a financial Accountant you will be responsible/involved in all areas of the finance function including month end, group reporting, budgeting, cost analysis, banking, tax returns, payroll, audit/tax, pricing and oversight.Key Responsibilities of the Role· Responsibility for completion of month end functions and preparation of management reporting pack.· Monthly balance sheet reconciliations and daily bank reconciliation· Preparation and analysis of monthly cost reviews and KPI reports· Review and reconciliation of intercompany accounts.· Co-ordinate and participate in the drafting of the Group single entity financial statements· Liaise with external auditors and tax advisors to support the delivery of interim and year end audit and tax· Support the annual budgeting and reforecast process· Manage the periodic inventory counts· Complete Monthly payroll and review of weekly payroll· Managing of rebates· Support the implementation of financial and accounting policies and procedures for stronger compliance, internal control and risk management.· Ad- hoc duties to support the teamKey Requirements· Qualified Accountant (ACA,ACCA, CPA, CIMA)· 3+ years working as a Financial Accountant· Experience in using Accounting systems· Experience with payroll systems is an advantage· Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint and Word.Competencies· Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships and work collaboratively with employees at all levels across the company.· Must be able to work on own initiative and be confident in own decisions.· Positive can-do attitude with a focus on action· Excellent analytical skills (numerical and written) with strong planning and organising skills· Strong ability to apply critical strategic thinking to resolve problems· Strong attention to detail, with ability to challenge and question across all levels of the organization· Ability to demonstrate openness and flexibility to adapt to changing business needs and priorities.Job Type: Full-timePay: €45,057.08-€74,808.57 per yearWork Location: In person
