As a Patient Engagement Representative, your primary responsibility will be to make outbound calls to patients within our database to remind, re-engage, and schedule them for upcoming dental appointments. This is a key role that supports patient health outcomes, clinic efficiency, and overall patient satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
* Make outbound calls to existing and lapsed patients to book dental appointments.
* Use a consultative and friendly approach to educate patients on the importance of routine dental care and available services.
* Accurately schedule appointments across multiple clinic locations using our practice management software.
* Update patient records and contact notes in a timely and professional manner.
* Handle patient queries or objections with empathy and confidence.
* Collaborate with clinic teams to ensure smooth scheduling and avoid overbooking.
* Meet or exceed weekly appointment booking targets and KPIs.
What We're Looking For:
* Previous experience in a customer service, call centre, or healthcare/dental setting preferred.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Comfortable speaking on the phone for extended periods and handling objections.
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Empathetic, patient-focused, and motivated by helping others.
* Availability to work flexible hours if required, including evenings or weekends.
