Job Title: Operational Site Business Improvement Lead
About the Role
This role will be integral in driving business process transformation, with a focus on streamlining operations and leveraging core systems. The successful candidate will report into the Business Improvement Manager within the Group Supply Chain and Procurement Function.
Main Responsibilities
* Improve current data flows and Excel reports to deliver actionable insights to site management teams.
* Work with local teams to identify information requirements and clarify needs.
* Automate data collation and dashboard development through collaboration with site IT, OT, and the business improvement team.
* Coordinate process mapping for all aspects of operations, focusing on current working practices, information flows, systems used, pinch points, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities.
* Develop next-generation processes with the Central Business Improvement team and wider stakeholders.
About You
The successful candidate will have a relevant 3rd-level qualification or equivalent, with an in-depth understanding of process flows. Strong teamwork and communication skills are essential, along with a methodical and proactive approach to problem-solving.
Desirable qualifications include at least 2 years' experience in operational planning, as well as expertise in Lean tools like Six Sigma and DMAIC. A working knowledge of Microsoft NAV, Principal Index WMS, Power BI, and Power Automate is also beneficial.
