This position reports directly to the Engineering Operations Manager. Your role will focus on maintaining compliance with regulatory standards, managing asset lifecycles, overseeing preventive maintenance programs, integrating and optimising Maximo systems, and driving continuous improvement in equipment monitoring. Additionally, you will be responsible for the critical tasks involved in safety management, stakeholder communication, and project handovers.Ensure adherence to necessary safety, environmental, and regulatory standards throughout operations.Oversee the entire lifecycle of equipment, ensuring proper maintenance, calibration, and operation to maximise uptime and efficiency.Develop and manage programs to prevent equipment failure, ensuring that maintenance schedules align with operational needs.Implement and manage the Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems and Performance Improvement Teams (PIT) to ensure the operational efficiency of equipment.Handle the integration of the Maximo system for managing equipment data, scheduling maintenance, and tracking spares and inventory.Identify risks related to operations and implement measures to mitigate potential issues, ensuring smooth operations and avoiding downtime.Lead efforts to improve maintenance practices through data-driven insights, performance monitoring, and feedback from various teams.Maintain effective communication with all stakeholders, ensuring alignment on objectives, schedules, and compliance.Attend and manage Hazard and Operability studies, ensuring all potential hazards are identified and mitigated.Attend and manage FATs & SATS, ensuring equipment meets required standards before installation.Oversee the creation and management of all handover documentation related to project work, including equipment manuals, calibration schedules, and spare part inventories.Manage the handover of project deliverables, including documentation, equipment information, calibration schedules, and spare parts.Ensure that the site remains compliant and ready for Permanent Inspection Readiness (PIR) audits.QualificationsB.Sc. degree in Process; Chemical; Mechanical; Electrical Engineering or other related discipline.Project Management Qualification desirable.5+ years experience in a similar role handling a broad range of responsibilities from technical systems integration to managing complex project handover tasks.Previous experience in a strategic role that involved ensuring compliance, maximising asset performance, and leading KPI’s and efforts within the maintenance and engineering teams is essential.Additional InformationAbbVie is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to operating with integrity, driving innovation, transforming lives and serving our community.
