House Coordinator — Dunshane Community
Camphill Communities of Ireland (CCoI) supports people with physical and intellectual disabilities, including autism. CCoI operates residential and day services across 15 locations, enabling residents to live a life like any other. We are recruiting a House Coordinator to join our Dunshane Community.
Job Title: House Coordinator
Contract: Permanent
Hours: Fulltime (40 hours per week)
Qualifications
Minimum Level 7 qualification on the QQI Framework – BA in Social Care Studies or an equivalent qualification in Health or Social Care.
At least 1 year of supervisory experience in a similar social care setting.
At least 3 years of experience working with vulnerable adults or adults with intellectual disabilities.
Detailed understanding of current policy and development at national and sectoral levels in relation to Social Care within disability services.
Excellent working knowledge of HIQA regulations and standards.
Thorough knowledge and understanding of safeguarding requirements including Trust in Care and Children First.
Ability to lead, direct, coordinate and delegate the work of the team while providing consistent and quality support for vulnerable adults.
Effective interpersonal and communication skills, verbal and written.
Proficient IT skills relevant to the role, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), SharePoint, OneDrive and Teams.
A full driver’s licence is an essential requirement.
