Our approach is team based and brings together a focused group of people working on a diverse range of projects.Role:The overseeing and preparation of Preliminary designs reports for both Private and Public Clients inclusive of D+B Contracts.The preparation of detailed tender documents, scope of works, specifications and pricing documents.The Supervision and Contract Administration of Water Services projects in the field.The Successful candidate must have:Have a minimum 10+ years post graduate experience in Civil Engineering.Must have attained Chartered Status.Have experience in a wide variety of Water Services Projects including Network design, pumping stations, WWTP, Rising mains and Fire protection Projects.Experience working with Irish and/or UK water authoritiesHave experience in the use of Micro-drainage, Civil 3D and GIS or similar.Ideally have knowledge of government/public contracts and others such as NEC and FIDIC.Experience in flood risk management, fluvial hydraulic modelling or hydrology would be an advantage.Current experience of leading, managing and running, Civil engineering design projects, preferably in the consultancy sector.Excellent knowledge and experience of current codes of practice and design standards.Proactive, a good communicator with the ability to lead others in a multi-disciplinary project team.Excellent level of attention to detail and accuracy.Strong interpersonal skills, and good written and oral communication skills.Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.Full driver's licenceBenefits:Competitive salary and benefits package.Flexible / Hybrid working hours.Opportunities to work in a friendly environment on a diverse range of challenging and rewarding projects.Careers progression opportunities.Accredited CPD Programme with support and mentoring.Company Pension Scheme.Protection of life and long-term illness cover.Paid Maternity Leave.Financial support for further approved training.Paid professional membership fee.Active Sports and Social Club.
