ResponsibilitiesDevelop, modify, apply and maintain quality standards and protocols for processing materials into partially finished or finished materials products.Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing functions to ensure quality standards are in place.Devise and implement methods and procedures for inspecting, testing and evaluating the precision and accuracy of products and production equipment.Investigate non‑conformance and ensure corrective measures meet acceptable reliability standards and that documentation is compliant with requirements.Contribute to continuous improvement activities to support the business.Collaborate in areas such as design, incoming material, production control, product evaluation and reliability, inventory control and/or research and development as they apply to product or process quality.Ensure compliance with all applicable departments, site‑wide procedures and regulations.Support internal and external audit preparation and activity, including application and maintenance of quality standards for all associated activities.Key Skills & ExperienceMinimum of a bachelor’s degree (Level7NFQ) in Engineering/Science or a related discipline with at least one year of direct science/engineering experience within a medical device environment.Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.Practical working knowledge of statistical data analysis, problem‑solving and quality improvement tools and techniques.Technical writing skills.Ability to multi‑task, take initiative and manage time effectively.Ability to build and maintain positive relationships, showing respect and consideration for others.Benefits & CompensationMedtronic offers a competitive salary and flexible benefits package.
