Procurement Excellence Role
The role of Procurement Specialist/Manager is a pivotal one within our organization. As part of the Procurement team, you will play a key role in ensuring seamless delivery of technology projects in line with EU directives and public procurement guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
* Tendering of Technology projects in line with EU Directives & public procurement guidelines to achieve value for money through effective tendering practices.
* Achieve optimal outcomes through strategic tendering, investment appraisal, and benefits realization.
* Develop and lead on Sustainability through tendering initiatives that promote eco-friendly practices.
* Manage mini-tender competitions to ensure compliance with contract terms and Public Spending Code.
* Negotiate contracts effectively and manage IT projects while working with legacy systems.
* Create and manage Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) with end users to guarantee compliance with contract terms.
* Monitor and report on compliance metrics, including KPI management.
Requirements:
* A minimum Level 6 qualification in Public Procurement with at least 3 years' experience in Public Procurement.
* Experience in tendering in the public sector, specifically with Technology projects, adhering to EU Directive 2014/25/EU.
* A strong commercial focus, excellent communication skills, and ability to build relationships at various levels.
* Creative problem-solving skills to develop solutions that improve service standards or reduce costs.
* Excellent planning and organizational skills to facilitate high-performance teams and stakeholders.
