A panel may be formed as a result of this campaign for Speech and Language Therapist, Clinical Specialist (Community Neuro Rehabilitation Team), HSE Dublin South & Wicklow from which current and future, permanent and specified purpose vacancies of full or part-time duration may be filled.
Purpose of the Post:
The Speech and Language Clinical Specialist will be responsible for the effective and efficient delivery of an evidenced based, person-centred, quality Speech and Language Therapy Service on the Community Neuro-Rehabilitation Team (CNRT).
The Speech and Language Therapist, Clinical Specialist will be responsible for the provision and delivery of a high-quality, evidence-based Speech and Language Therapy Service for persons with acquired and progressive neurological conditions and will carry out clinical, educational, and administrative duties as required.
The post holder, together with the interdisciplinary team will provide a specialist Neuro-Rehabilitation service.
This includes providing information and advice to other professionals and carers.
This may involve assisting in induction and supervision of staff, and education of Speech and Language Therapy and work experience students, when appropriate.
The post-holder will participate in training opportunities as required.
As a member of the Community Neuro-Rehabilitation Team, the post holder will be responsible for planning, developing, co-ordinating and evaluating the service to meet the needs of the service user and the objectives of the CNRT.
The post involves working autonomously and as part of an interdisciplinary team within a community setting.
