Role Overview: We are seeking a compassionate, experienced, and motivated Person in Charge (PIC) to lead and oversee the daily operations of our disability services. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with regulatory standards, promote best practices, and drive continuous improvement in service delivery. Key Responsibilities: Provide strong leadership and operational management of the service. Ensure compliance with HIQA regulations and all relevant legislation. Promote a person-centred approach in all aspects of service delivery. Support and mentor staff, fostering a positive and professional working environment. Manage service planning, risk management, and quality assurance processes. Collaborate with families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies. Oversee safeguarding and welfare of service users. Qualifications and Experience: Relevant qualification in health/social care or disability studies (Degree or equivalent). Minimum 3 years experience in a management role within disability services. Proven knowledge of HIQA standards and disability sector regulations.
