Deputy General Manager - Luxury Corporate Catering Location:Cork City Salary: €65k-70k Hours: Monday to Friday We are currently recruiting for a Deputy General Manager for our client, a leading food services provider for a luxury corporate catering unit based in Cork City Centre. The Deputy General Manager will work to ensure that all areas of people management, food and beverage operations, visitor experience and client activities are met as per company requirements. Key Responsibilities: Day to day management of the whole site to a high standard, in line with client contract & General Manager direction Ensure that the correct daily cash procedures are followed including Petty Cash, lodgements, Safe Checks, etc are followed Ensure the visitor experience is at a world class level across the whole site & all service & financial KPIs are met Provide regular reports to the General Manager in regard to budgeted KPIs, Team Training & Development, Customer Satisfaction Direct responsibility for full quality and safety compliance Build and maintain excellent working relationships with all department heads as well as key stakeholders in the business Primarily responsible for food and beverage service operating standards Maintain regular presence and visibility in all areas of the site owning the environment and attitude of the team Identify opportunities throughout the site and investigate potential growth targets with General Manager The Ideal Candidate: 3+ years experience with hotels or contract catering Experience within a 5* hotel would be advantageous A high degree of knowledge of Food Hygiene including HACCP, Facilities Management a plus A passion for fresh food and service.
