Regarded as industry experts, this role will cover Ireland with travel to the UK, Europe, US, AUS etc. Requirements: Proven sales experience - ideally in heavy engineering, capital equipment, recycling or construction-related sectors. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills a people person with a commercial edge. Strong client service orientation and ability to solution sell to senior executives. A technical background in mechanical, electrical or fabrication is highly desirable. Experience with AutoCAD and 3D drawing packages is a bonus, as is the ability to read technical drawings and discussing plant layouts. Highly organised, with the discipline to manage a CRM and keep multiple deals moving. Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel. Willingness to travel and represent the company in a variety of settings. Key Duties & Responsibilities: Serve as the primary point of contact for new and existing customers, building trust through technical knowledge and honest communication. Consult closely with clients to understand operational needs, challenges and future expansion plans, ensuring regular visits to customer sites. Oversee all major tenders and quotations, ensuring technical elements align with capabilities. Maintain strong, ongoing contact with existing clients and respond to queries with urgency and professionalism. Attend briefing meetings and work proactively to upsell, cross-sell and offer smart, practical solutions. Proactively seek out and secure new business opportunities. Work towards sales targets and KPIs with focus, tenacity and accountability. Attend trade shows to showcase company offerings. Keep abreast of new technologies within industry regulations and sustainability incentives. Provide market intelligence.
