* Deliver high-quality oncology nursing services to patients requiring treatment.
* Educate and support newly diagnosed cancer patients and their families, promoting informed decision-making and self-care.
* Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient-centered care plans.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage the administration of oral anti-cancer medication according to established guidelines.
* Conduct comprehensive patient assessments using standardized criteria.
* Coordinate tests, treatments, and follow-ups to ensure efficient and safe patient care.
* Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient care activities.
Requirements and Qualifications
* Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland or eligibility for registration.
* Completion of an Oncology/Cancer Nursing post-registration program.
* A minimum of 5 years' experience in acute Oncology, with ongoing professional development and adherence to best practices.
