About the Role
Our organisation is seeking an experienced Financial Auditing Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing client audit files and financial statements from inception to completion.
This involves ensuring high professional standards are maintained within time constraints.
Key Responsibilities
* Financial Reporting: Prepare financial reports as required by client assignments.
* Training and Leadership: Mentor junior staff in all technical aspects of accounts preparation and auditing, leading them on client assignments.
* Compliance and Reporting: Identify areas of non-compliance with auditing and accounting standards and report these to the engagement manager.
Team Collaboration
You will collaborate with a team to provide statutory external audit services to a diverse portfolio of clients in various sectors.
Personal Qualities
* Solid experience in auditing Irish companies.
A relevant degree and an ACA, ACCA, or other accounting or relevant qualification are required.
* Business acumen and insight to be an effective business advisor to your clients.
Experience in managing and leading teams effectively is also essential.
* Excellent report writing skills and experience in presenting to senior management teams.
Strong organisational and planning skills are required.
* Ability to work independently and provide guidance to others.
Experience of working to deadlines and delivering under pressure is necessary.
