Key Reorder Manager Position
The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining stock levels within targeted KPIs, ensuring accurate stock files, and managing inventory to achieve cost savings.
* Ensure timely and efficient management of stock levels, including 100% must-stock and 99% promotion availability.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date stock records, adhering to standard operating procedures.
* Implement effective date management strategies for ambient and chilled products to minimize wastage and reduce costs.
* Develop and implement plans to achieve stock appreciation targets, contributing to business growth.
* Identify and manage slow-moving, inactive, and obsolete inventory lines.
* Collaborate with the local management team to ensure accurate completion of cycle counting and stock takes.
* Monitor and measure inbound and outbound service levels.
* Forecast promotional activity across all channels, anticipating seasonal trends.
* Identify and target margin opportunities, ensuring margin protection and achieving targets.
* Develop and implement local promotions and trading initiatives that contribute to branch sales goals.
* Ensure all promotions align with the Better Offer Better Buying program and are available throughout promotion cycles.
* Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar management role within a wholesale or retail environment.
* 3rd-level business-related qualification.
* Experience in forecasting activity and supplier management.
* Excellent numerical ability and high-level computer skills.
* Outstanding leadership skills and organizational agility, demonstrated success in driving results.
* Ability to engage, communicate, and influence at all levels.
* Excellent business acumen and numerical ability, with an understanding of commercial sensitivities.
* Thorough approach to work and attention to detail.
