Role Description
We seek to recruit a full-time Technical Sales Executive, to work alongside the Managing Director and report directly to him. The successful candidate will seek out new opportunities to quote, cultivate new client relationships, generate quotations, manage their pipeline of quotes and complete win/loss analysis reports.
The successful candidate will have strong networking and technical knowledge. The role is ideal for someone from a fabrication or drafting background, with hands‑on experience of the trade, knowledge of process cycle times, etc., who wishes to progress their career.
The role is for a Junior/Developing or moderately experienced candidate. Enthusiasm and willingness to learn sales techniques and disciplines are highly desirable personal traits for this position. The role also involves collaborating with the design and engineering team to align client requirements with practical solutions.
Qualifications
Proven experience and practical knowledge of engineering, manufacturing or construction
Understanding of process cycle times
Ability to learn and apply knowledge of technical standards and acceptance criteria
Very strong attention to detail
High standard of English and presentation skills
Proficiency in ERP software, Microsoft Office Suite, and understanding of CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks) are considered advantageous
Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and networking skills
A self‑driven, resourceful and goal‑oriented mindset
A full, clean driver’s license
