Overview
This is a very technical Sr Security Engineer role with a state of the art tech house. You will provide operational, engineering and consultation support across the areas of security monitoring, vulnerability management and perimeter/endpoint controls.
This role will focus around large and complex network topology, learning how security technologies and practices can be applied to defend against today's threats by administering, supporting, and implementing technologies that manage and control access, identify vulnerabilities and more.
The role will provide you with broad exposure to a myriad of information security technologies including Firewalls, Authentication Encryption Technologies, VPNs, IDS/IPS, Antivirus and Remote Access.

Key Experience
8+ years of experience in network or systems engineering, architecture, or administration; team-lead experience is a plus.
8+ years of experience across any information-security domain (security engineering, administration, analysis, penetration testing, etc.)
Strong understanding of core security concepts, common attack vectors, and mitigation approaches.
Proven experience with scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or similar.
Solid foundation in TCP/IP, routing, and switching, with the ability to perform basic network administration and troubleshooting.
Strong grasp of operating-system fundamentals, with hands-on experience in Windows and/or Linux administration and troubleshooting.
