Senior Microbiology Management Position
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager to lead our Quality Control Microbiology team.
About the Role:
This is a key position in ensuring the quality and compliance of our products. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the Micro and Environmental Monitoring teams, leading them during regulatory inspections and ensuring network alignment on commitments prior to agreement with agencies.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in microbiology, leadership skills, and experience working in GMP Aseptic or Sterile Manufacturing environments. They will also possess excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, as well as the ability to read, analyze, and interpret scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
Key Responsibilities:
* Set goals and manage performance to ensure alignment with company objectives.
* Provide clear direction and coaching to team members to ensure quality and compliance requirements are executed.
* Lead the team during regulatory inspections and ensure network alignment on commitments prior to agreement with agencies.
* Manage multiple competing priorities, including site and functional responsibilities, frequent communications, and attending meetings as lead microbiologist on site.
Requirements:
* Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology, Biology or related science discipline.
* Minimum 10 years of related experience in GMP Aseptic or Sterile Manufacturing environment, working in Environmental Monitoring and/or Microbiology laboratory.
* Strong leadership and management skills, including establishing direction and goals, guiding execution, and fostering a team-based environment.
* Proven problem-solving and decision-making skills, with ability to read, analyze, and interpret scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
