Operational Risk Management – Associate
Exciting opportunity for professionals looking to gain experience with the Management Company or AIFM and the Operational Risk function. You will be involved in all areas of Operational Risk including delegate oversight, outsourcing, operational resilience, incident management and risk analysis for the ManCo/AIFM entity as well as gaining exposure to Carne Group interactions where required. The preparation of Board and Committee reporting will also be a part of the role and supporting the DP for Operational Risk in all matters.

Who are we looking for?
Ambitious individuals who want to start or progress their careers in investment funds, particularly in the dynamic and fast-growing area of Operational Risk. This multifaceted role requires someone who can dive into the detail and is comfortable working with technology to solve problems, especially within the Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) space.
What is your role and your responsibilities?
Deliver tasks set on time and in a professional manner.
Preparation of reporting within prescribed deadlines.
Review incident data including root cause analysis.
Oversee delegates in accordance with the outsourcing framework.
Oversee the Operational Resilience Framework for the ManCo.
Participate in ongoing projects and provide updates to your Manager/DP on a regular basis.
Draft policies and procedures as required to support the ManCo/AIFM.
Maintain and update procedures.
Assist in assurance testing where required.
Establish and maintain excellent relationships with internal stakeholders and work with internal teams to reduce the Operational Risk of the ManCo/AIFM entity.
Work closely with Account Managers and Oversight teams to support them to carry out the tasks set out by the DP for Operational Risk through the oversight role and address escalated items in a timely manner.
Ensure tasks and processes are performed to the required standards.
Foster a positive team ethic and support the team, when required.
