An experienced Civils Supervisor is required to oversee the day-to-day delivery of civil works on public lighting and utility projects nationwide.
Reporting to the Project Manager, the role involves supervising site teams and subcontractors, coordinating stakeholders, and ensuring all works are delivered safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with regulatory and local authority standards.
Key Responsibilities Supervise civils crews and subcontractors to deliver works safely, on time, and to required quality standards.
Oversee excavation, trenching, ducting, column installation, foundations, and reinstatement in line with the Purple Book and local authority requirements.
Ensure safe working practices around live utilities and public lighting infrastructure.
Act as the primary on-site contact for clients, residents, and stakeholders; manage permits, wayleaves, and approvals.
Liaise with Project Managers on progress, resources, risks, variations, and programme delivery.
Maintain accurate site records, issue advance notices, and manage daily reporting.
