If you are looking for an exciting Supplier Quality Engineer contract, working for a leading medical device client, with a varied working environment, then this is the job for you.
**This is an onsite role and as its a contract position only Stamp 4 visa or EU citizen will be considered.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
Strong Validation experience working on part acceptance and process qualification.
Manage and monitor supplier quality performance for electronic components, PCBAs, and mechanical parts.
Manage and develop supplier quality performance electronic components.
Conduct supplier audits (process, system, and product) to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Ensure suppliers meet material and specification requirements (e.g., resins, additives, tolerances).
Support new product introduction (NPI) by validating supplier capability and process readiness.
Collaborate with engineering teams on design for manufacturability (DFM) improvements.
Develops, modifies, applies and maintains quality standards and protocol for processing materials into partially finished or finished materials product.
Collaborates with engineering and manufacturing functions to ensure quality standards are in place.
Ensures that corrective measures meet acceptable reliability standards and that documentation is compliant with requirements.
Required Knowledge and Experience:
Requires a degree and minimum of 6-8 years of relevant experience OR Master's degree with a minimum of 4-6 years relevant experience.
Proven track record in supplier quality management, including audits, performance monitoring, and supplier development.
Experience supporting New Product Introduction (NPI) and validating supplier process capability.
