ALS Life Sciences Ltd are seeking a Facilities Technician for our laboratory business in Clonmel, Co. Tipperary.
The successful candidate will initially be responsible for:
* Receiving, checking, and putting away deliveries
* Organising the store rooms while ensuring that all store areas remain clean and orderly
* Carrying out stock takes to assist the team in placing orders
* Keeping crates clean and taking ownership of the orderly storage of stock.
* Compacting cardboard/plastic and assisting with recycling
* Undertaking basic repairs as allocated from Management Team.
* To ensure all records are completed concisely, accurately and on time.
* To assist with managing and supporting external contractors/Facilities visitors as directed by Management Team.
* Ensure that waste streams are managed effectively, adapting where required.
* Support ad-hoc cleaning to ensure highest standards are maintained.
* Places ad-hoc orders as requested.
* Play an active role in maintaining health and safety standards.
The hours of work will be from 9am to 5pm working Mondays to Fridays.
Skills & Qualifications:
* Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
* Good communication and teamwork skills.
* Basic computer skills necessary.
* Good English is essential.
* Drivers licence is preferrable.
Salary: €32,000
