About The Role

We now have a fantastic opportunity for an HGV Category C Driver to support our Service Centre operations and help us deliver quality products and services on time, every time for our customers.
Every day brings something new—travelling to different locations, meeting customers, delivering and collecting a wide range of plant hire equipment, from excavators and telehandlers to generators and scissor lifts. You’ll also demonstrate how to operate the equipment and will receive training to carry this out professionally and safely.
The personal qualities you’ll bring are as important as your skills and experience. You’ll be the face of Sunbelt Rentals and the first person most customers see, so we’ll expect you to be a great brand ambassador. Friendly and helpful, you’ll go out of your way to support your team and customers.

About You
From day one our focus will be on your training and development, including induction and Sunbelt Driver Training. Your manager will help identify your personal development needs and career progression, including opportunities to gain new qualifications. We’re committed to developing our team and promoting internally where possible.
What you will need to bring to the role:
* You will be a fully competent HGV driver with licence category C, preferably with a clean driving licence (no more than six points).
* Licence category E with Driver CPC and Digital Driver Card is desirable (Training may be available).
* Experience in the movement of Plant or Powered Access equipment with IPAF or ADR certification desirable.
* Excellent customer service and communication skills with the ability to build relationships and represent Sunbelt Rentals positively.
* A flexible and adaptable approach; you will be an effective team player.
* You’ll be articulate and organised, with good attention to detail and accuracy.
* A strong commitment to and awareness of Health and Safety as you’ll need to comply with H&S legislation and Sunbelt Rentals policies and procedures.
