Role Description
This is a full-time Health and Safety Officer role based in Galway with a hybrid work arrangement, allowing for a combination of on-site and remote work. The Health and Safety Officer will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining health and safety policies and programs. Day-to-day tasks include conducting risk assessments, ensuring compliance with regulations, delivering workplace safety training, and addressing occupational health concerns. The role requires collaboration across departments to ensure a safe environment for all employees.
Qualifications
* Strong knowledge of Health & Safety and Workplace Safety practices
* Experience in Occupational Health and managing Environment Health and Safety (EHS) programs
* NEBOSH certification or equivalent qualification
* Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
* Ability to analyze and implement safety regulations effectively
