We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled Automation Technician / Engineer to join a fast-paced, innovation-driven manufacturing environment. In this role, you'll play a key part in designing, implementing, and maintaining automated systems that improve efficiency, reduce downtime, and support continuous operational excellence.This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual looking to work hands-on with advanced automation technology while contributing to high-impact projects across production and engineering.Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:Design, develop, and implement automation solutions for manufacturing processes and systemsProgram and modify PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, etc.)Install, configure, and commission industrial automation hardware and softwareDiagnose and repair faults in automation systems, minimizing downtimePerform routine and preventive maintenance on automation and control systemsInterpret electrical schematics, P&IDs, and technical drawingsSupport system validation, testing, and performance optimisationCollaborate cross-functionally with engineering, operations, and maintenance teamsMaintain accurate documentation of system configurations and modificationsProvide technical support and training to relevant personnelIdentify and implement automation improvements to increase productivity and reliabilityJob requirements
