Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Clinical Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our educational staff, you will be responsible for planning, delivering, and evaluating course content in Occlusion and Function, as well as supervising students during clinical sessions.
Main Responsibilities:
* Course Leadership: Lead the teaching of Occlusion and Function, including planning, delivery, evaluation, and continuous improvement of course content.
* Clinical Teaching: Supervise students during clinical sessions, focusing on core competencies in diagnosis, treatment planning, and care delivery.
* Governance & Incident Reporting: Demonstrate familiarity with policies and procedures, reporting clinical incidents promptly using QPulse and contributing to quality improvement and reflective practice.
* Curriculum Integration: Ensure teaching and learning are fully integrated into the clinical experience, linking pre-clinical knowledge and skills to theoretical teaching.
* Student Support & Feedback: Provide regular, constructive, feedback, identifying students in difficulty and liaising with relevant staff for support.
* Assessment & Evaluation: Participate in clinical competence assessment and accurately award clinical credits in line with policies and procedures.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
The successful candidate will be a qualified dentist, registered with the Dental Council of Ireland, with a minimum of three years' experience post-qualification. Essential criteria include furnishing documentation for Hepatitis B Titre Levels and Hepatitis C negativity.
